Elegant flat plate made of Ironstone, from the prestigious Bordeaux manufacture Jules Vieillard & Cie.
This iconic model, the Service Maurice, embodies the perfection of fine earthenware from the late 19th century. It is distinguished by its deep blue decor applied by transfer onto a cream paste, characteristic of the finest Ironstone. The naturalistic motif, with Japanese influence, depicts a bucolic scene of great finesse: birds nestled in flowering plum branches surrounding a lakeside landscape with its stone bridges.
